Privacy Policy

1. What data we collect
Viziq collects minimal data:
- Analytics events (page views, field taps, form selections) via PostHog. These are anonymised and contain no personally identifiable information.
- Payment information is processed by Paddle, our payment provider. Viziq does not store credit card numbers or payment details.
- If you provide an email address at checkout (optional), it is stored by Paddle and may be used to notify you of form updates.
2. What we do not collect
Viziq does not collect:
- Your name, address, or contact information (unless provided voluntarily at checkout)
- The content of your immigration applications
- Your immigration status or history
- Any information from the form fields you view
3. Cookies and local storage
Viziq uses browser localStorage to store:
- Your form access token (proof of purchase)
- Your form progress (which fields you have reviewed)
These are stored on your device only. They are not transmitted to Viziq's servers.
Viziq does not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking. PostHog analytics uses a first-party cookie for session tracking.
4. How we use data
Analytics data is used solely to improve the product — to understand which forms and fields are most used. It is not sold or shared with third parties.
5. Data retention
Analytics data is retained for 12 months. Payment records are retained by Paddle per their privacy policy.
6. Your rights
You may request deletion of any analytics data associated with your session by contacting support@viziqapp.com.
7. Third-party services
Viziq uses the following third-party services:
- Paddle (payments): paddle.com/legal/privacy
- PostHog (analytics): posthog.com/privacy
8. Children
Viziq is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
